Okay so I bought this mainly because I live in a studio and couldn't justify a full-size bike taking up half my living room. Still being using it now so I feel like I can actually give a useful review.
First thing — the noise. I was so worried about this. Genuinely surprised by how quiet it is. I watch TV without turning the volume up, and I've even had it going in the background during a call. No complaints from anyone.
The assembling is very convenient. Totally took me about 30 minutes.
One thing I actually really appreciate — the wool felt resistance. I know a lot of people default to magnetic bikes but honestly? I prefer this. The resistance has this slightly heavier, more textured feeling to it — hard to explain but it doesn't feel "digital" if that makes sense. It actually reminds me of riding on the muddy trails near my old neighborhood. Not perfectly smooth, a little raw, a little unpredictable. I kind of love that about it. Magnetic bikes feel too clean to me now. If you're someone who used to ride outdoors and misses that grittier feel, this might actually click for you in the same way it did for me.
The display is nothing fancy — speed, time, distance, heart rate. Does the job.
Over all, it is a good deal.
