What should I do after receiving my new espresso machine?

Upon receiving your machine, ensure to read the user manual thoroughly and run a cleaning cycle with water before your first use to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.

Why is the brewed coffee not hot enough?

Coffee cups absorb heat when not preheated. Recommend preheating the cup with machine’s hot water function before brewing, especially for the first use.

Can I use acidic cleaners or put the portafilter and filter baskets in the dishwasher?

No. Acidic liquids (including descaling agents, vinegar, or lemon juice) must never be used to clean or soak the portafilter and filter baskets, as they can corrode or discolor the metal. These parts are also not dishwasher-safe.

How do I clean the steam wand after making milk-based drinks?

Immediatly use a damp cloth to wipe off milk stains on the outside of the steam wand and release steam to flush out residue inside the steam wand, you can also refer to the user manual.

Why is the machine noisy and the cup shifts due to vibration?

This machine uses a high-pressure water pump, which causes slight vibration and noise during operation—this is normal. If the cup shifts during extraction, please use a heavier ceramic cup or mug.
